elynross: Why I support OTW - So, bottom line, I trust a lot of the OTW folks, and I trust that they trust the rest, and I've seen the things that some of these people have and still provide to fandom, so I think, "Hmmm. This could be damn cool." -
- maygra: Why I support the OTW - I think the legal side, the archive, the wiki, and the journal all represent something solid in the face of the metaphor that is fandom. We are, in many ways, our own sovereign nation, inside many other sovereign nations. -

That's reassuring. I was very uncomfortable by the impression that fandom, as a whole, was completely ignoring all the (IMO, I know) potentially dangerous and sometimes negative aspects of OTW.
