gnatkip: Fannish Browsing Tools, Part 2 - It's a list of some bells and whistles for LJ, LJ clones, and other fannish places. -
incisivis: Stuff that's happened - Am I the only one who doesn't get the point of fandom_secrets? Granted, entires seem a little more esoteric than "I like Tracey better than Brock" (which I do), but it's still the same idea: making a big deal out of something that's just...why? -
eonism: Clearly, I have spent too much time on - Then you[...]find that you pretty much hate what's become of these characters, and everything about them that made you want them together has been written out of their storylines. So, what do you do when you don't really care anymore -
affectingly: Bad Fan - Having a sense of humor about the boys, being able to see, acknowledge, and love them in spite of and because of those flaws, does not, nor will it ever, make me or anyone else a Bad Fan. -
dodger_winslow: Jensen and Jared: A Matter of Respect - Show a little love for Jensen and Jared in a way that communicates our solidarity as a fandom behind the simple idea that the guys deserve to be treated with RESPECT by their fans -
cakmpls: Even Hitler probably made a valid argument once in a while - I've been seeing a current in thought that troubles me:[...]to judge the validity of one person's argument by the character or motivations of someone else who once made the same argument. -
heidi8: Mainstream Media Coverage of the LJ Purchase by SUP, and Fanclubs. And Dinosaurs! - What's wrong with being a "bad fan" anyway? -
dotfic: This is me, opinionating. - Some react to the expressing of opinions as if it were an attempt at mind control. As if criticism can somehow steal squee. As if the squeers are in on a sekrit plot to stifle the critics. As if we don't have the means to put our own thoughts out there as -
thelastgoodname: Re: new Livejournal owners - The "flag for content"? That's for people who are agitating for reform in Russia; any impact on your porn is tangential. Offensive Content, Hate Speech, Illegal Activity? That's not for us. -
spectralbovine: Kremlins 2: The New Batch Processing - The staff had had no idea about the purchase[...]they had then spent hours and hours and hours[...]asking them questions...and SUP had an answer for everything. And not just any answer, the right answer -
thelana: metafandom wrap up - I'm more fascinated in what makes somebody *not* be a lurker. Or if there any people who weren't lurkers before, but slunk back into lurkdom. Basically lurkers who in other circumstances wouldn't have been lurkers. What factors influenced them? -
