inamac: Fannish Life on Mars - I realised that I do tend to treat the internet very differently from 'real' fandom, and perhaps I shouldn't. -
- stepps: Bookmarking for del.icio.us - I love del. so bad, and I think it's an awesome tool for fandom to use in the finding of fic, picspam, interviews, art, whatever the hell people want to bookmark. But only if the bookmark tells you what it's about, clearly and with some sort of stucture. -
- cimorene111: Things That Guys Don't Do Unless They're Gay (Hint: There's Only One) - if you're calling guys gay because they cuddle and kiss their friends, wear feather boas, cry[...]- even if you're saying it because you LOVE them for it[...]you're reinforcing the very cultural norms and stereotypes which they're fighting against. -
- isiscolo: icon-oclast - I don't like shared icons. I know this must be an unpopular opinion, because icon-makers almost always put their creations up for sharing, but I wish that more talented iconists (iconifiers?) did what e.g. livia100x100 does and have claiming rather than s -
- ataniell93: Yes, Virginia, linking to a public post can in fact be a hostile act. - What makes an act hostile isn't whether or not it's socially acceptable, it's what your intentions and expectations are when you do it. Even giving someone roses can be a hostile act, if you know they'll get hives. -
