joyful_molly: Meta/writing: Writing holidays! Self publishing! World domination! - "Published by somebody else" does not automatically equal "good book". And I'm baffled again and again to see how an author's opinion is automatically promoted from "irrelevant" to "meaningful" because her/his book is available on Amazon. The world of original writing is just like fandom. Only with bigger BNFs and longer sentences. -

jonquil: I'm all right - You do live in a society with problematic issues. People continue to complain about these issues because they haven't gone away. When you leap into a post and explain how, in your experience, these things aren't a problem, you're saying "My experience is more important than yours." It isn't. -
