beccaelizabeth: Speaking and doors and all that 'we' stuff - Stuff where you have to 'come out' about it is stuff where just saying 'I'm queer, I'm a fan, I'm a slasher' isn't going to be enough, because you don't know which texts have given your audience their definitions. -- therealjae: The New York Times: FNL has no viewers because it has no fandom. - I'm finding myself wanting to protest her whole "there's no fandom and no fanfiction for Friday Night Lights" tenet[...], but really, her thesis goes wrong far sooner than that. -
