praetorianguard: untitled - To me, this is a slam-dunk win for JKR/WB, assuming that the book really is an encyclopedia. -
- praetorianguard: Warning: Really, Really Verbose. Really. - So if JKR told SVA that he could use the stuff for the Lexicon, she meant for the Lexicon. Extrapolating the right to publish a for-profit, printed book from the right to use the material on a non-commercial, free-to-use website isnât going to fly. -

RDR Books (the HP Lexicon lawsuit) Analysis - No matter what your personal feelings on the issue are (so far the commentary I've seen has been about 50/50 'Steve is insane' and 'JK is greedy' and derivatives thereof), it's ultimately a legal issue, and a fairly interesting one at that. -
