alma_alba: [in fanficrants] Because You People Asked For It - Your summary should also showcase your writing ability. Don't treat it as throwaway space! Remember, it is your ADVERTISING. -
proggrrl: Womens' fiction, advertising, and FanLib.com - It does seem a tad, um, CRIMINAL to start a site that seeks to monetize the fanfic writers and audience. randomsome1: Get the popcorn! - Put succintly: "We'll make the cash and piddle with your fic if we feel like it--and by the way, anything you post here is ours . . . but if something goes wrong, you're the one getting burned at the stake." -
quickbeam_cw: ATTENTION FANDOM: THIS IS IMPORTANT! - Honestly, I feel a little like we're a nation that's been colonized by some world power who doesn't know anything about our culture, but assumes they know how to run our country. -
labingi: [in starmerrow] The Great FanLib Debate - Itâ™s become quite an LJ brouhaha, and thus, since I said something to the effect that I was theoretically completely behind the FanLib idea, I feel I should clarify. -
halfshellvenus: Discovering "Smarm" - I can definitely see why there would be an audience for stories that cut off at the pre-sexual point, but most of what I read I'd still say is Slash or Slashy. -
