General
[livejournal.com profile] estrella30 - you know what I hate? - If there was ever anything I agreed with less than the very idea of a fandom hate community, I cant really think of what it might be.

[livejournal.com profile] mona1347 - Wank is lame - No, really, lemme say it again.

[livejournal.com profile] nardsarmy - It's Not About You - Fanny Fandom has a journal and one day she makes a post about how much she dislikes, nay hates, Veronica Mars. It happens.

[livejournal.com profile] laurus_nobilis - A bit of meta about crossovers" - I've seen a lot of people (if not most of them) who consider crossovers as inherently AU. This confuses me to no end. I agree that there are some fandoms that don't mesh well with anything else (LotR, Star Wars) unless the other side has a canon plot device to make the crossover possible. But I don't get the idea that every single canon out there is closed, even if this seems obvious to most people.

[livejournal.com profile] viciouswishes - Slipping the condom on - A discussion which has interested me since I started writing fic is sex safe and the lack of it in fic.

Fandom-Specific Cut for possible spoilers in Supernatural fandom. )

On Creating and Criticism
[livejournal.com profile] liviapenn - The incredibly complicated and scientific cracktasticness scale. - I almost want to like, mathematically quantify the Crack Level of a given fandom and then the Crack Level of a given crackfic cliche and then you could definitively state whether or not any given story was "crackfic."

Polls, Questions, Other
[livejournal.com profile] alixtii - Going throught the RSS Feed: Dinosaur Metaphysics and Serial Storytelling - Seriously, I seem to not be able to decide whether I want to be a pragmatist or not.
