    Hey, so, in my academic / real life name guise, I have written a silly undergraduate paper (http://claire.mclendon.googlepages.com/madscientistsandcybermen%3Afearofthemechan) on Doctor Who monsters and our views of technology. I don't know if this meets y'all's criteria for posting, but I believe the responsible researcher makes her findings available to the community, so here it is.
