cqr: [in thisthingwedo] Female characters in male-slash fiction. - Because in my slashing experience, female characters are regarded as being the natural enemy of blokey-love and/or the author is doing a nasty Mary Sue. Even in femslash, another original female character has a tendency to cause squick. -
partly_bouncy: [In fanthropology] BandFic history - This is mostly a link to a draft of an essay I've been writing on BandFic history. I've gotten stuck in the 1960s for a variety of reasons. One reason is that I can't find the research I need to complete the 1960s. -
