I have some speculation on the logistics of making fan audio plays (which to my knowledge has never been done:

"I have yet to hear of a fan audio play. True, many of the issues with fan films hold: they require resources and technical/artistic skills. But at minimum, I could see a fan audio play being produced by one fan."
